The September issue of AI Practitioner, the International Journal of Appreciative Inquiry, is out. This is the second bilingual English-French issue, giving us a glimpse into appreciative inquiry practices in French speaking organisations and communities. The issue holds stories from France, Morocco, Canada, Senegal, Belgium and Switzerland.

In the newest episode of Inspiring Impacts Luc Verheijen speaks with Dr. Lindsey Godwin about how to use appreciative inquiry and learning networks to address challenges, improve performance, and create energized workplace environments.

What if we choose even more radically to place all of life – including the more-than- human world – at the centre of everything we do? What might it look like if we made more space for non-human voices? How can we work more explicitly with and in nature? How do we broaden our perspective from human flourishing to a thriving planet? These are the central questions of the special issue of the International Journal for Appreciative Inquiry (AIP) that was guest edited by our K&S colleague Joeri Kabalt.

Suppose you are enjoying making an impact; you have started enthusiastically and the first results are visible. The feeling of progress motivates and gives you a boost. In general, we are good at starting something. We feel like it, the energy is high and we are comfortable in the action. But how do you maintain that feeling?

The November issue of AI Practitioner, the International Journal of Appreciative Inquiry, is out. The theme is: Learning and Leveraging Generative Approaches to Intercultural, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

When designing learning trajectories, I like to use the critical incidents method. I find this a fine way to capture the essence of a profession, function or role. Together with the people who perform the job or know the work well, you systematically map out the situations that matter. You can then analyze those characteristic situations for the competencies people need to deal with them effectively. Those abilities then form the starting point for designing an appropriate learning path.

The September issue of our International #appreciativeinquiry Journal is out. The topic of this AI Practitioner Journal is: Developing Appreciative Teams. Our guest editors Ignacio Pavez and Federico Varona have brought together a great team of authors who share their perspectives and stories about creating thriving teams. Especially remarkable is that this is a bilingual issue in which all theme-related articles are both available in Spanish and in English.

The May issue of AI Practitioner, The International Journal of Appreciative Inquiry, is out. It is an 'open issue' and it reflects how our field of practice and theory is continuously growing and bringing forth new stories.
