Louise Diamond and The Heroic Journey

Louise Diamond passed away last week. I met Louise some 13 years ago at a CARE conference in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. She designed and framed the whole 5 days using the framework of the 'heroic journey', and introduced us to the idea of the heroic journey as a metaphor for social change, peace building, and building leadership. I was completely hooked and have been able subsequently to introduce the idea into many organisations, where it has been moulded and shaped in exciting ways.
Louise has been a life-long agent for peace building, and established The Peace Company, believing that peace should be a profitable activity in the world.
